Dried Chicory's pedigree has some of the best cutting and reining horses.  Freckles Playboy is the #4 sire of NCHA money earners.  Jessie James is a legends cutting horse.  Poco Lena is the most sucessfull performance mare and Doc Bar is the most preferred arena horse.  Dry Doc and his full brotherr Doc O'lena are the two most famous sons of Doc Bar.  Dried Chicory is a grandson of Dry Doc.   If you are looking for that kind of athlete you have come to the right place.  He has conformation to work on his rear end all day and a very pretty face to boot.  He is also Grullo, only 3% of horses are Grullo. When you breed your mare you want the traits you are breeding for.  The way you get those traits is to have stallions that are not only bred for those traits but don't have other horses on their papers that aren't those traits.  In other words no holes in their pedigree.  If there are other types of horses on the pedigree that are not what you want those may be the genes you get.  If you will look closely at the K-D Ranch stallions you will see that there are no holes in our horses pedegrees.  You won't have to wait a year and waste a year of your mares life, to find out that you didn't get what you were breeding for.  Each of our stallions are bred for certain applications which are discussed on each stallion page.
